How to style a shelf
Group in threes with three heights: something tall, something stacked flat, something round. Repeat that trio down the shelves, rotating which element leads.
Leave at least a third of each shelf empty. Negative space is what separates styled from stuffed.
Pull objects forward to the shelf edge rather than pushing them back — it reads intentional and photographs better.
