When you contact us or place an order we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, delivery address and order contents. Payment details are entered on the secure checkout and are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.

When you browse the site we may receive basic usage information such as pages viewed and the type of device you are using.

To process and deliver your order, to answer your questions, and to send order updates. If you sign up for email, we use your address to send occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.

We do not sell your information.

Only the partners needed to complete your order: our checkout and payment provider, and the brands and carriers that ship your pieces. They receive what they need to fulfil the order and nothing more.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will handle the request.

Order records are kept for as long as we need them to support the order and to meet accounting and tax obligations. Contact messages are kept while we work through your question and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you write back about the same issue.

Email subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes the address from future sends immediately.

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into a form travels privately between your browser and our systems. Payment details are entered on the secure checkout hosted by our payment provider and are never stored on our own systems.

Access to order and contact information is limited to the people who need it to fulfil orders and answer questions. No system is perfectly secure, but we review the services we rely on and keep the amount of information we collect deliberately small.

The site uses cookies to keep your cart working and to understand, in aggregate, which rooms and pieces visitors spend time on. Our cookie policy explains what each type of cookie does and how to block or delete them in your browser.

If you sign up for our list, we use your address to send occasional notes about new rooms, restocks and styling guides. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and order confirmations and delivery updates are sent separately because they are part of fulfilling your purchase.

The Dana is a home furnishings shop intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If our practices change, this page is updated to reflect them. Material changes that affect how we use information you have already given us will be described here in plain language rather than buried in a revision.
