The Nox Ceramic Box

The Nox is a small black ceramic box with a fitted lid and raised stud detailing. It gives paper clips, charging cables, jewelry, keys, and other small items a concealed home while still looking intentional on a desk, nightstand, console, or open shelf. The lid hides visual clutter, and the textured surface keeps the glossy black finish from reading as a plain, featureless block.

Use the Nox for the handful of objects you reach for often rather than as general storage. On a desk, keep it near the front edge where it can collect small items before they spread across the work surface. On a nightstand, it can hold jewelry or personal essentials. Pair it with one other dark accent, such as a black frame, tray, or lamp detail, so the color connects to the room instead of sitting alone.

The compact ceramic form should be placed on a stable surface and handled by the base rather than the lid. Add a small protective pad underneath if the furniture finish is delicate. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. The Nox belongs to The Dana’s curated office collection and works particularly well against light oak and warm neutral finishes.
