About this piece
The Grid Ceramic Table Lamp 18": Ceramic table lamp fig
The Grid is an 18 inch sculpted ceramic table lamp in deep fig with a matching drum shade. The grid relief across the body picks up shadow, which gives a solid colour lamp depth it would not otherwise have, and the tonal shade keeps the whole piece reading as one object rather than base plus hat. Deep fig is a rich, moody alternative to the usual white ceramic, and it works especially well against oak and warm neutrals on a desk or console.
How to style it
- Set it against a light wall so the grid relief casts visible shadow.
- Pair with warm neutral surroundings, oak, oatmeal, brass, to keep the fig from going cold.
- One statement colour per surface, keep the rest of the desk neutral.
Perfect for
- Home office desks and consoles
- Bedroom nightstands wanting colour
- Modern and contemporary interiors
- Neutral rooms needing one rich tone
